Climate & What to Pack
The climate of Germany is temperate. They have nice, mild summers & wet winters. The average temperature in winter is 21-35 degrees fahrenheit, depending on where in the country you are. In July, temperatures are in the mid 6o's.
If you plan to visit Germany in Winter:
Pack:

Boots (there is ice, snow and rain!)

Warm socks (if you plan to do lots of walking outside)

Warm coat (not really a bulky skiing one, but one that will keep you warm)

Gloves (so you can feel your hands)

Scarves and hats (to keep your ears and neck warm)
If you plan to visit Germany in Summer:
Pack:

Light raincoat & umbrella (to prevent you from getting soaked)

Layers (weather is always changing)
Men: What you would usually wear where you live
Women:

Comfortable walking shoes (no high heels! The streets are cobblestone!)

Pants or jeans (no skirts or dresses - you will stand out!)

Nice jewelry (not too fancy, but not too casual)
